On June 1, 2022, Mr Li Jiming , counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, Political Counselor Wang Zhihong, Secretary Yu Peng and Deputy representative of Power China Bangladesh Representative Office Han Kun visited The SS Power I Project in bangladesh to inspect and guide the work.

First, accompanied by the project team, Ambassador Li inspected the main plant, turbine engine room, centralized control building and GIS room and other construction sites. During the period, Deputy Project Manager Dai Jinzhu introduced the project construction progress and safety production to Ambassador Li and his party, and gave detailed answers to the questions raised by Ambassador Li at the scene. Ambassador Li fully affirmed the progress of the project and safe production. During the inspection, he mentioned many times that the project was the most first-class power station project he had inspected in Bangladesh, and witnessed the spirit of craftsmanship running through every process of the project construction. Proud of the great Chinese construction project.

Afterwards, Ambassador Li and his delegation listened to reports on the progress of the project, safety production, and epidemic prevention. At the meeting, Ambassador Li highly praised the project department’s organizational management ability, safety production management level, normalized epidemic prevention work and project construction progress.

In the end, Ambassador Li put forward three requirements to the project department: firstly, under the current severe international security situation, we must raise awareness of security precautions and keep a "prepared head" at all times; secondly, strengthen the management of party building, project party The branch should comprehensively standardize and do a good job in political construction, ideological construction, organizational construction, work style construction, discipline construction and system construction. It is hoped that the project will continue to work hard, complete various construction finishing tasks with high standards, and create a high-quality project.

During the interview, Ambassador Li adopted the world’s leading technology for the Azsalam project to minimize the impact on the environment while outputting power efficiently; the project will make profits independently after it is put into operation, and there is no risk of "debt trap"; After it is completed and put into operation, it will help Bangladesh realize the dream of "golden Bangladesh" and highly praise it.
